blessing or offense
I was studying the other day a lesson on offense and how we react to it. I think it's a crucial lesson to learn for the now. There is so much opportunity to take offense as we serve in the Kingdom. How we handle it matters to God.
He grows us through offense. Many times we take offense because we have a revelation from God others do not. And they are not acting on it. They didn't have that revelation. We get offended. We see the blessing in what He's doing. They do not. We get offended.
We serve God much by serving one another. People aren't going to care as much as God does. We get offended.
How are you going to grow through offense? How do you turn it into a blessing?
By choosing not to be offended. When given the choice, you walk away from it and walk in the blessing that comes with an undefiled heart. You trust the Lord with all your heart. There isn't a second of your life He doesn't see. He willed it to be. He is Lord over it. If you let your heart be offended, your heart stops being pure. Choose to walk in greater intimacy and let it go. Let the blessing come in.
