You Are

Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Philippians 2:1-2

One of the things I'm really grateful for in Austin is the citywide unity God is bringing to our churches. There are so many cool and amazing things going on in each church...each representing another facet of God's character.

Monica, my friend and fellow co-worker at Imagine Art is a part of Vox Veniae church. http://www.voxveniae.com/ This church seems like such a jewel in the city.

Coming soon in April, there will be a first ever conference for both pastors and artists. www.transformingculture.org I know this is bigger than a conference, bigger than encouraging artists, and a key to how God wants to bring revival to our city. I went to a luncheon the other day for this as Imagine Art will play a small role in it, and was so glad to look around the room and see all different denominations represented... and a few faces I'm fond of from the Austin Stone. It's going to be good.

Last week I also went to the UT prays prayer time at Hill Country Bible UT. Again, so great to look around the room and see different churches, campus ministries, pastors coming together to pray. City intercessors ready to pray strategy. Even a security guard from the UT campus who reported a revival happening among the guards. God is so good!

I'm thanking God so much today for the way He is bringing unity, how He is teaching us to respect and love and prefer one another in ministry, in prayer. It is so important to Him.
