imagine art at armadillo christmas bazaar!

God is doing great things at our little arthouse now located in AHOP.  We have been busy preparing for the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar - and I'm so proud of our artists!  God is truly glorifying Himself through them.

This is the first time a non-profit of disabled artists has been involved in this show, which is truly a God thing.  The Armadillo Bazaar is one of the biggest events Austin puts on all year - voted one of the top ten things to do in the city - and we are excited to have a booth there where we can share the love of our God and the heart of our artists with our city! Praise the Lord!

Come out and see us - the Bazaar runs from December 12 to 24th, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m at the Austin Convention Center.  Some of our artists will be on hand, and you can also read all our artists bios and look through thumbfiles of their work.

Here is a peek of some of the work...we'll be selling works on 12 x 12 canvas priced at 150.00, as well as some little pieces of art, like papier mache cat heads and felt beaded black crows.  Hey, no one said our artists weren't original!  We have already been selling works out of the studio and I know our artists are going to be so blessed by God's outpouring on their lives. Most of our artists live at poverty level and 80% of profits go back to them, and 20% goes back into our studio supplies.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
Because the Lord has ANOINTED Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the
brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those
who are bound;

To console all those who mourn in
Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit
of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of
righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that
He may be glorified.
